The Annual 2018 Hello Cricket Tournament.
The annual Hello Group Cricket Tournament was a highly anticipated event, with teams throughout the company competing for the winners’ title. The excitement was running high, which in turn lead to no work being done since 12 that day.
Ten teams throughout the company was ready to battle it out at the Centurion Action Cricket Courts. The ultimate favourites of the tournament where the Ballbarians lead by Alwyn, and the Call Centre’s Knight Riders lead by Zaker.
By 5 o’clock the cricket arena was jam packed with players and supporters and above all the action, there were no lack of entertainment. Moosa was running the whole show and dictating who of his teams players should do what in order to ensure a definite win. Under Sayjil’s watchful eye, his sales agents joined as well, but was later caught out for encouraging ball tampering with sandpaper. On the “brighter” side, Ernest’ white legs ultimately counted in his favour as he blinded his opponents running up and down the court.
After a couple of nail-biting play-out rounds, it was down to two…The Knight Riders played a brilliant game against the Sales Super 8 and came out as the ultimate Hello Group Cricket Winners. Everyone cheered and celebrated when they were handed the well-deserved trophy. The day ended off with some quality hangout time between employees, teammates and friends, and definitely one for the books!
